convenient location that brings in custom, the good lunches
that can be enjoyed in their specialist dining area are
particularly popular, whilst the small garden area and
welcoming fireplaces both add to the appeal.
The George

part of the adjoining George hotel so as you would expect it’s
popular with hotel visitors. As a former coaching inn dating
back to 1615 the place has plenty of character and the high
street location makes it convenient too.
The Shades
The Broadwalk, 85 High Street, Crawley (01293 514105) This
large and spacious Whitbread owned and run pub enjoys a lively
atmosphere. There’s food served from lunchtime until early
evening with plenty of good value dishes to choose from. The
choice of real ales is particularly good too.

popular Jubilee Oak is a Wetherspoons pub and as such you can
expect good value food and drink throughout the day. Friday
and Saturday nights are particularly busy and the bar gets
extremely crowded, so if you’re just out for a quite drink
